Loki convinced many a sheriff and SAR coordinator that search dogs were a valuable resource, even if the handler was a woman who would not make coffee and sandwiches. He guides me still.

Loki ,one of the 1st
search dogs in Montana, was my patient teacher and dedicated partner. Loki, the trickster,
marking for his own, a trainer whom I revered above all others, keeping me humble.
