Bridge Inspection Program | Home | Steel Bridge Mackin Construction was founded by Walter Mackin in the 1920s. Projects in the early years covered a wide spectrum of construction that included concrete dams, spillways, and concrete, steel, and wood bridges.
After Blake Mackin returned from the University of Colorado, where he received bachelors and masters degrees in engineering, he and his father began concentrating on bridges, building a fine reputation for quality work across the state. Since the 1970s, Mackin Bridge Construction Company has specialized in the construction of bridges.
Blakes son Bob joined the firm in 1978. Now in its third generation, Mackin Bridge has been designing and building Montana bridges for nearly eighty years. |
