Important 4-H Deadlines for 2007-2008

4-H Program Year (October 1, 2007– September 30, 2008)

Enrollment - October 1, 2007 to May 1, 2008 Enrollment forms must be turned in each year!!!

4-H Clubs

Club packets will be available October 1st

Yearly Financial Statement due February 1st

Wyoming 4-H Club Treasurer's Handbook due October 1st.

Clubs without bank accounts only submit Chart of Accounts & Annual Inventory Report of the handbook.

4-H Leaders

2007-08 Leader Enrollment, Current DFS Screening Form, and E-Learning Training Course must be completed before you begin working with 4-H Youth

4-H Members

Market Beef Members 2007-08 Enrollment

due February 1st (ownership deadline)

2007-08 Enrollment Forms due May 1st

Reenrollment forms must be turned in each year!

4-H Animal Ownership Deadlines

February 1st - Market Beef (all market beef project members must be enrolled in 4-H at this time)

May 1st - Horses (owned or leased) - Horse ID Certificates are due at this time (must be turned in or re-filed each year)

May 1st - Dogs (owned or co-owned) - Dog ID Certificates are due at thistime (must be turned in or re-filed each year)

May 15th - All Market Sheep, Swine and Goats

June 1st - All other animals (Breeding Beef, Feeder Calves, Dairy cattle, Breeding Sheep, Breeding Swine, Diary Goats, Rabbits, Poultry, and Cats)

June 15th - All Market Poultry (sinlge fryers and meat pens)

July 1st - All Market Rabbits

4-H Animal Tagging & Consignment Deadlines

February 10th - All Market Beef

May 25th - All Market Sheep, Swine and Goats

July 3rd - All Market Rabbits

*Rabbits must be Tattooed (rather than tagged)*
